Our continuous growth has led us to seek for an experienced professional to integrate our VAT Compliance department in our office in Braga (Portugal), as: VAT CONSULTANT - Bilingual in French You will work in close collaboration with consultants of the company and your role will be to: • Supervise the preparation and the filing of the VAT returns, Intrastat, etc. to the tax administrations of the countries where we represent our clients; • Managing the relation and communication with our clients as well as following their processes; • Ensure VAT support for our customers by analyzing specific situations/issues posed by our customers; • Contact with the tax authorities, in order to follow the status of the processes of the clients in course; • Ensure vigilance on various VAT issues in Europe; • Collaboration with our subsidiaries in Europe, in order to organize/analyze the information of our clients. Qualifications We are looking for a candidate with the following profile: • Working experience of at least 2 years in a company with an international environment; • Degree/Master in law, accounting, management or economics; • Mandatorily fluent in French with good English skills • Willing to integrate a dynamic multicultural team; • Dynamic, strong relationship building, organized person, being able to set objectives and to face up to challenges; • Hardworking with a confident and friendly personality and with excellent interpersonal skills directed to the client.
